Leveraging sponsorship to help encourage a brand’s link is always an area where real innovation can shine. It is one thing to have signage up at an event or property, but another to make a true consumer connection between an event/property and a brand. One example that I have found inspiring is a piece from the Sabadell bank.
It’s hardly new (first published a year ago), but for a bank (especially a spanish one…which I cant imagine is having too much fun at the moment given the state of Spain..) to create a piece that celebrates its’ founding town, and unites a community is a timeless piece of creativity.
Given that it has been viewed over 10 million times on You Tube, it sure makes their cultural sponsorship of the local Valles Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs a mighty prized property….
And the response from the crowd–who watched in front of the Banc Sabadell building in Placa de Saint Roc, Sabadell, Spain–shows an honest and sincere appreciation of a cultural event and its supporter (Yes a bank…take note australian banks!)…
